Brown Vetoes California Budget With a Pledge to Seek $9 Billion in Taxes

In a world where getting printed money is arbitrary....fights will break out on who is entitled to it.

Students?  Teachers?  Firefighters?  Rich?  Poor?  Families?  Politicians?  Doctors?

When America was founded, it was our own labor that generated our production...that is why we enacted laws preserving private property rights....because private property was deemed an extention of our life.

Today, or production is simply a byproduct of credit....often provided by government spending in one way or another.....yet we still want private property rights when it is government handing us what we have.....

So expect more and more to demand what they feel is rightfully theirs...until they realize that everything they have was because government gave it to them or government printing money and spending preserved its value.

     I believe that Germany and France will gather the cash/commitments to bail out Greece yet again. When Sarkozy sees that french anchor bank BNP Paribus has a 25% share of Greek debt, France will do anything to make sure the sheep keep grazing.

     BTW, BNP Paribus owns the U.S. banking chain "Bank of the West." My wife used to work for them and she still holds a bit of BNP converted options.

     As for Californication, time for a new thought . . .

The FEDERAL deficit, which drives much of CA's economy, is about 2X income tax receipts.

Even if we doubled income taxes, it would not be enough to bridge the deficit. 

Right now we are all wissing in the pind, until we bankrupt the nation and restructure.

     Certainly its a joke, as is our own Social Security and Medicare system, but no one is willing to allow failure on their watch. Sarkozy is soon facing re-election. He will not allow BNP Paribus to be stressed beyond recovery.

knights now a days wear body armor or none at all...  But the laws of the land  forbid mere normals to own body armor ?   still it doesn't take a genius to  make bullet proof  surfaces or  go around the flawed  rules.

Still I would love to see the old rules of  trial by combat return to the court system.

Old Germanic  rules of  conflict resolution  :) when no witnesses  or  its your word against mine.
