Awesome Beijing Traffic Slap Fight

July 07, 2010 – Comments (3)

Apparently somebody hit somebody and those two guys in the white shirts starting taking weak punches at one another. This inevitably attracted a crowd, but the punches were apparently so weak that that middle-aged woman in the black blouse felt qualified to break up the fight.

Of course, this caused intense rubber-necking that paired up with rush hour and two left lane breakdowns made us an hour late for dinner.

I saw the first few punches while you were getting your camera. One guy was throwing haymakers before the lady in the black blouse stepped in. She gets my props.

Speaking of which, isn't that car in the bike lane? Perhaps that was the cause of the kerfuffle?
