Reason #882 to hate the Republican Party: They abolished the domestic monetary policy subcommittee rather then let Ron Paul chair it, as senority demanded. Ah, so refreshing...
I won't go into the rest of Frank's remarks. I do want to note that in 1993 he co-sponsored Democratic Congressman Henry Gonzalez's Fed Transparency bill that was eventually shot down by Bill Clinton and Alan Greenspan. I think in his cold black heart Barney wants to see the Fed reformed but he hasn't a clue what to replace it with.
