Billion Dollar Borrowers

August 13, 2012 – Comments (2)

Not a lot of excitement in last week's bond issues, but there was a lot of activity.  I can't remember seeing this many borrower's loading up a billion or more in new debt since I started following bond issues.

Quite a few refinancings, several 'general corporate purposes' and one or two with something meaningful to say about the use of proceeds.

Fool on!

Hey there outoffocus,

Good to hear from you.

I've been writing for TMF for a while now.  The TMF prefix indicates a Fool employee or full time contractor; I'm a contributing freelancer, so don't get the extra letters tacked to the front of my screen name.  I enjoy writing and plan to keep doing it as long as the kind folks at TMF will keep putting up with me.

Thanks for reading!
