Its overall traded volume during the last trading session was 1.61 million shares.Biotechs – you have to love them. This is my first exclusive zzlangerhans's purchase. I liked the 5 star cap rating and the inside ownership levels. I posted about this stock previously, http://caps.fool.com/Blogs/bdsi-5-star-cap-rating-/381834, here http://caps.fool.com/Blogs/bdsi-where-to-go-from-here/438442, and more recently http://caps.fool.com/Blogs/biodelivery-sciences-signs-of/445565. Unlike zzlangerhan who is a doctor, I have absolutely no medical background. Hell, outside of seeing a dermatologist (living in Miami – who doesn’t?), I don’t think I’ve seen a doctor in ten years unless you count the ones I date… Side note, zzlangergan started off our “relationship” by mocking my interest of AMRN at $1.00. Called it fish oil garbage. I respected that. Still liked the stock and rode it from $1.00 to $4.00. Sold out to early as now the stock is hovering around $8.00. Really sold out to early because I put the money in TRMA…But that’s a bad story for another day.Two interesting tidbits: first, last week, I had a limit order partially hit at $2.50 for this stock. No idea when I entered it, wasn’t particularly thrilled when it hit. Second, an unexplained magic run has started. I’d like some news. Even better, I’d like to see some insider purchases. I listened to the companies conference call about a month ago and nothing really stood out. I hate “unexplained” magic runs… That being said, I prefer when the runs are positive in my favor…Someone started accumulating shares this week…. I think if the technology works, someone is going to acquire this company as M&A activity picks up next year… Here’s hoping this stock hits $7.50 and I can get out with a triple bagger….
Biotechs are gambles – but hell, what isn’t…. My biggest holding is EXEL. I'm just hoping they cure cancer and pay for my retirement! Good for humanity, good for me.
