A monopoly is emerging here for Biosolar, Dupont is my first guess at a take over

They will corner the solar back sheet market quickly, Full production just starting up now

It looks like they are making a new black backing material for conventional photovoltaic solar panels that uses plant-based materials instead of petroleum.  I don't know much about the manufacture of solar panels but I suspect the backing material is one of the cheaper, lower margin components.

In theory they are using castor seeds to replace petroleum based products for the backing of photovoltaic cells.According to the blogged link petroleum based photovoltaic cell backing has seen a robust increase in business for Dupont. To each his own conclusion. I believe I have editorialized mine...J
