Biotech Picks and Shovels
Well, after a bought of extreme busy-ness with life in general, I got back on the writing wagon. Here was today's article:
Since I come out bullish on Biorad and Waters - I added them to my CAPS portfolio. I am more bullish on Waters than Biorad, mostly due to the already strong run the company has had. As a real-life investor, I would sit and wait for a dip. I think Waters is giving me that slight dip right now.
I am most bullish on SIAL. I commented on the issue of chemical procurement in India. I have personal experience with this, as I have overseen a chemical development program there. It was difficult to get materials there, often I had to arrange with vendors to ship to them directly, as they could not obtain them themselves - so it was a real time sync for me to work with India. Sigma enabled me to order directly from them and arrange shipment from the warehouse in India. It took an effort to set up but would have been very worthwhile had the contract continued longer : P .
