Well, I am now the owner of a 2002 Toyota Seqia, and now I have to figure out what to do with my existing car.

I had a parent come with his almost 16-year-old son to see the car.  It is a fairly powerful car and pretty strong acceleration.  Call me protective, but I think if I'd had kids I'd be looking for a vehicle with a 1600cc motor, or heck, bring back the Datsun 1000.  That was actually my second vehicle, a 1969 Datsun 1000 and it cost me $7-8 to fill the gas tank.  I could drive all week on that, back around 1980.  It had no power going up hills what-so-ever.

I am basically selling it for the best offer I get by Saturday.  I put the car on Craigs list just after lunch today and I've gotten 4 offers so far.  That tells me that maybe my asking price was a little on the low side.  And actually, I had a student up north make a better offer to me then my asking price and the cost of towing it up there.  I've emailed her to see if she is still interested.

I didn't think this would be so fast.

And right about now I'm kind of hoping oil heads down more.  I don't drive that much so it doesn't make that big of a difference.  I think at current prices it would be about $125 to fill the tank.  I suppose my gas costs will be up about $500 on the year.
