Breaking in to the top ten; state of play 8

I have for the first time entered the top ten of caps. *small bow*

Lets recap.

My first wave (that brought me to the brink of the top 100) was basically the shorting of the financials. (From september 2007 to spring 2008) (As a countertrade i greenthumbed gold and health; both worked only moderately well)

My second wave (that brought me to the brink of the top ten) was the shorting of the commodity related stocks. (Summer 2008) (As a countertrade i greenthumbed airlines; that worked very well)

My third wave (that brought me into the top ten) was greenthumbing quality stocks after the october 2008 slowmotion crash. (As a countertrade i redthumbed a sprinkling of airlines and vulnerable financials; that did not work out.)

Interwoven between them i had two moves that fizzled out.

I captured a bear market rally in january 2008 but could not unload quick enough.

I expected a september bear market rally in the commodities that never came.

Gefeliciteerd, Frans!

The picks you made late October are especially impressive. Looks like you are an excellent trader. And with that accuracy, you will be #1 soon.

Thanks all  ..grin..now i am again out of the top ten..i am glad i commemorated my first entry!

i am still jockeying for position based on the idea that green thumbing quality stocks will work now in a longer run...
