Anheuser-Busch to cut up to 15% of salaried jobs.....

When one company cuts 15%, it may be setting itself up for better results.
When every company cuts 15%, we all lose.

Anyone else see 20% unemployment by the end of the year....we are already approaching 6%.

Well, Annheuser-Busch needed to make certain announcements after rejecting the takeover offers, in order for the shareholders to fully understand the move.  Alstry, what is the point of creating a self fulfilling prophesy like that.  Things are bad, I think everyone is feeling the pinch at this point...but I am hoping for full employment within McCain-Romney's first term.  If Barama wins, your prophesy will be fulfilled...perfectly.

20% by the the end of the year? no that's far too extreme.

8-10% is possible but it's unlikely it will ever be reported that way

You wanna bet....just watch how high unemployment goes up in the next report when the start reversing out birth/death numbers and start factoring in the number of people returning to actively look for jobs.

I am very confident that by the end of summer, September, we will be well over 10%.

I am very confident that we will not hit record unemployment levels since the great depression within 6 months. the only way you can imagine that happening is a financial meltdown at least as bad as the great depression happening.

now if you want to make bets on this there are futures markets out there.
