So, OSTK finally drops off the short list, and what's Byrne's response?

"It's encouraging, but maybe the SEC is fudging the numbers just to it looks like we're not being naked shorted!"

Well, that's my paraphase.What he said was this:

"...I remain open to the possibility that the miscreants have figured out a way to shift illegal unsettled trades outside of the DTCC using ex-clearing transactions which the SEC (displaying its customary deference to criminal elites) has said that Regulation SHO does not apply."

Ostk shareholders: Do you really want to trust your money to a guy who can't function unless he's the victim of a wide-ranging plot?
