CAPS Presents Limit Orders

Awesome. I am very pleased. One question... is it possible to use a limit to close a pick already open? I want to set a limit to close ACAS at 0.03 but when I click the end pick, it just says waiting to determine price. Is there some way to set my limit so I can forget about ACAS and automatically have my 98 points accrue when it goes bankrupt?

I know I just saw this as well....  Finally a way to keep track of my picks and what I originally valued them at.

I can only find the option on the Advanced Pick Utility

Maybe on release 1.01B  :)

As a result, it's only somewhat useful for opening picks.  It could be dangerous to use as an "auto close" on a pick since you won't know at what point the S&P plays into your score....but then again on the ones you are certain are going bankrupt sub $0.05 then that's a moot point!  :)

It looks like it. There is a "Limit Orders" tab on your scorecard now. Just click on it and add limits to any pick thats been open for over seven days. At least thats how it appears to work, I haven't tried it yet.

Very Nice, but looks a little DANGEROUS.  Good catch Matt, I didn't see any options.

I think I need to "test" this on a few picks before I feel comfortable with it. :)

Seems to work on the entry side. I'll try using it to close a pick next time.  Don't forget to click SAVE.... :)

Yes, you can use a limit to close an existing pick.  Click on the Limit Orders tab from your My Player page Scorecard.  Click on the "Add" button from the Limit Actions column next to the pick that you want to set a limit on.  Click on the "Edit" button to edit an existing limit that you've previously created. And click on the "Start Limits" link to view pending limit orders for potential picks that you've created.

I just published a blog post that provides a more detailed overvie of the new CAPS Limit Order functaionality.

If inflation comes a little earlier than you expect, you're going to lose your shirt on ACAS.
