Cardero Resource Group (CDY)

June 14, 2011 – Comments (7) | RELATED TICKERS: CDYCF

Yesterday I decided to change my forcus to coal mining companies. I normally stay away from this sector but thought I should see what the world of micro/small cap companies have to offer. While running some screens and reading some articles I came across Cardero Resource Group (CDY). Unless I am missing something I see this company as a outstanding value play with room to run.

If I am missing something please let me know.

It's a core holding of mine. Incredible value. I have spoken at length with the incoming President, and this is a man with a plan. :)

Nice find, cato!

Thank you, Chris.

I can't recall you writing about CDY in the past. But you must have because I see in the CAPS commentary two people using you as the source for their decision to pick it. I thought you were strictly a PM guy.

I am pleased to have reached my on my own, but that just shows that a blind hog can find a little corn on his own.

So, you just returned from a business expedition to the Great White North? I hope you had a good trip.

All the best,

Cato (Oink!)

Correct me if I am wrong, but Chris is indeed a PM investor in its totality.  In other words, every biz relating to PM's, including but not limited to dry bulk shipping for transporting the goods from point A to B, coal and energy used to process the metals etc.  Atleast that has been my analysis of his articles about dry bulk shipping, coal mining etc.....

Did I mention I love my some pig!!!  Time to eat

The missing word is conclusion.

Gotta love those madlib typos. :)

Re #3:

I had fogotten about Chris' dry bulk offerings. I don't mean to cause offense when I say that I have not read many of them. It is an area that I leave to others to understand, like snooker and vegemite.

Vegemite is a finer thing? From what I hear it's the Pabst Blue Ribbon of sandwich spreads. Maybe I'll be brave and buy a jar. Maybe.
