CEP & Earnings

So around July 23rd, I got jittery about earnings season and sold all my stocks. Pretty dumb call, but I guess not making money is better than not losing money.

Anyway, so far earnings have looked very good for most of the companies I trade in. I bought TRMA (something I probably couldn't long, as I don't know enough about the energy sector in the first place to long smaller companies in it). I bought it before earnings and then sold it right after. I suppose I could have held it just a couple more days (without a calculator, I think it's up over 30% or more).

Now, I sifted through my energy stock ideas and earnings dates and found CEP, it looks fairly interesting. Mainly because it's book value is around 0.13. Earnings are set to be announced the 10th or 11th, so I'll see how it goes.

I'm going to continue my research on CEP, but so far it seems intriguing.

I disagree. (just joking. drop the second not and I agree ...)

I've been following CEP for awhile now, and it just doesn't seem to do that much relative to many other stocks, and has certainly not participated in this current rally as many other beaten-down stocks have done, for whatever that's worth.

The dividend certainly looks interesting enough, but I don't know. I'm going to keep following it like you, and just see what happens.
