In cutting through all the chatter of the churches. I have be wondering how all of this works. The Jewish religion is very rich in its history. Back in the day it talks of many things.Laws of the time varied depending on the ruler at the time. It talks of Simon Magus.All the different meanings behind the words. The copper scrolls give us much information of the time and how it relates to the new testament. They have pishers and so on. Now why does the Christan churches not teach us about that? In the old days if you were into astrology then you were bad some times you were call a witch or worshiping the devil. Now we call astrology bad but astronomy is ok. Don't both words mean the same thing depending of the time? I know from Astronomy that in around 2011 there will be a solar storm and that the araua borralas should go over new york according to the history channel. Would this be a sign of the second coming that so many people teach about from the olden days in the bible? Everything seems to follow the bible right now but so many things don't and I don't hear people talking about it in the news> Is there a reason why not? The reason I ask this is because the man made end of the world senero makes me wonder.I know how we vote will determine so much yet we are divided and not communicating. I know how to save and try and keep my head. If mankind will crash and burn this planet tell me what do trading wise.

when the calender hit the year 1000 people all over europe had end of the world parties because they were sure the world which has lasted 1000 years A.D. couldn't possiablly go on.

Don't worry about the destruction of the world when it comes to your investments. If the world comes to an end your portfolio is the last thing you will have to worry about.

In answer to the second comming of Christ, again don't worry about it, if Christ comes back the second time , like the end of the world due to mankind destruction your portfolio is the last thing you will have to worry about.

I would suggest looking for debt free companies who have good management, 15% or higher  insider ownership, in troubling times these are always good things to look for in a company to long term invest in.. Good Luck

First off it's aurora borealis.  Also the solar cycle peaks about every 11 years so you'll get a good auroral display you can see to Hawaii if it's dark enough usually at least once a decade.  The biggest solar flare in modern history actually occured in Sept. 1859.

Anyway the Mayan calendar says the world will end Dec. 21, 2012, so I'd make sure my money at least lasts till then.

Ummm, no.  Astrology tries to tell you your life is controlled by the planets and gives you that horoscope stuff.  Astronomy is a science played out my Newtonian physics (or Einstein's relativity for extra accuracy) that tells you where the planets will be. 
Astronomy tells you when the moon rises,
Astrology tells you the moon makes you loony.

Yes but if due back in 2000 ad the days and time in the holy land so that the time does not match. Hench the you can never tell by the signswhen it will happen. Now what would happen if science figured out a way to beem a hollagram into the auroral display for all of new york to see? What then?
