Looks like I'm stuck with the job of closing out this contest, since apparently the Chimp has been captured and returned to the wild. As I'm in a rather remote part of China and some burly-looking characters are giving me the hairy eyeball, I'll keep this brief. My best recollection is that the contest ended at the close on August 19, which to the best of my recollection was yesterday (today if you're in the Eastern hemisphere).
So if my memory and my math serve me correctly, the final top three are as follows:

I was hoping that the haiku score would make a difference, but sadly it had no effect on the top two. It looked like the contest ended just in time before gold supplanted biotech at the top, but that's the way of the world. If someone notices that the abacus I borrowed doesn't seem to have worked correctly, please make a note in the comments. Otherwise, BlackSwanCapital, please provide an e-mail in your own pitch comments so I can obtain payout information. This will be acted on after I return to the absence of civilization in Dade County at the end of August. And congratulations. Please join me in my prayers that the Chimp is happily swinging from pole to pole on Bourbon Street rather than the Congo.
