Advocates. Advocates?
I think this is about how it went down:
Europe: "Hi, China, this is Europe calling."
China: "How are you Europe. We were wondering if you would call."
Europe: "Yeah, well you know how it is. Anyway, we were wondering..."
China: "Yessss?"
Europe: "Well, could you loan us a few hundred billion Euro?"
China: "A few hundred billion Euro?!? Wow, that's a lot of money. What are you guys doing, throwing a party?"
Europe: "Well, no, ahhh, ummm, no, not a party, what we need it for, is umm, well..."
China: "OK, OK, we will give you the money, stop stuttering."
Europe: "Really?"
China: "Sure, we like you guys. But there is one little condition. We are sure you will not mind."
Europe: "OK, what is it, we are sure we will not mind either."
China: "Well, we are going to hold onto our Euro."
Europe: "But you just said you would loan us the money?"
China: "Oh, we will. But in Renminbi. That is no problem is it?"
Europe: "Ummmmm, oh, somebody else needs to use the phone. We will call right back."
