Recs

February 16, 2011 – Comments (13) | RELATED TICKERS: CAGC.PK.DL , CHBT.DL

Another rough day for the dubious Chinese RTOs. How long will regulators let this untrustworthy companies continue to make a mockery of our markets? How long will foolish longs keep pumping these deflating stocks? So many questions.

CHBT -13%

CAGC -19%

BORN -8% earlier in the day

CAST -13% this morning before a recovery

And the "bellweather," CCME down 3% and falling...

"this" should be "these", but alas, CAPS blogs' functionality appears to worse than ever. You make corrections and then it posts the original! Sigh.

New Pitch re: CAGC:

China Agritech has been under enormous pressure in 2011 from short sellers who have blogged opinions that the company is an outright fraud. Because the stock is down, a few law firms specializing in lawsuits against companies with stock prices that have dropped have jumped on board. As of mid February 2011 the downside momentum is huge. However, based on option activity, it appears a floor will form in the middle single digits.

If you believe as I do that China Agritech is a long term winner providing fertilizer to a very hungry Chinese market, then these are entry prices are very attractive. Carlyle, the private investment firm still holds a large position, which I find very reassuring.

Yeah, ONP appears to have answered some questions. Also, the Global Research people, despite their embarrassing touting of RINO to the bitter end appear to have sent CCME flying with their new report. I love the drama! Even CAGC is up nicely.

This is a good site for a summary of research data for Chinese equities (including audits and any investigations or investor concerns). I am amazed at the number that have a warning/alert beside them. My own practice is to research thoroughly before investing in China. Anything I invest in must have a history of credible audits and no investor conerns. The only China stock I have right now is WATG. I have some stocks with branches in China which seems safer.

This gets you right to the score card and then you click on the stock for updates

i.e. BORN has an investigative alert on it
