Christmas presents for my fellow Fools.

December 24, 2009 – Comments (4)

Fellow Fools,

This Christmas I have gifts for you. Some of you will gladly open these packages and appreciate the thought. Hopefully most of you in this category will have your horizons broadened. Others will openly belittle my offerings, openly mock me for my efforts. Sounds like a regular Christmas morning, eh?

For those of you not in the know I am a libertarian. I believe I am of the moderate variety. I am not militant, just passionate about the rule of law and following the Constitution. I am not one to shriek and squawk about every Obamanation coming down the pipe. Nor was I that way about Dubya. I found there are not enough hours in the day for that. Oh, and don’t worry, I am not out to recruit you into the fold. I merely wish to post some links to some items that I believe democrats, republicans, libertarians, green party or whoever, would benefit. Yes, some will be to libertarian websites.

I hope that all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year. The next couple of years are going to be rough. Just hang on, keep your head together, take care of what you can, don’t forget to use the tools at hand and ask for help.

No time to go through them now as I've got my little boy at work with me for the half day that I'm here, but I'll do my best after the holiday.

Have yourself a good Christmas, Cato.

In midst this economic turmoil, reflecting on the advantageous position of living in a time and place where there is protection of personal liberties, personal property rights, rule of law, balance of political power and freedom of the press and personal expression might be a good way to start a new year.  Many thanks for the links.  Merry Christmas!
