I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I am becoming very tired of the <20 bloggers on here with no picks who are simply promoting their own investment sites.  For Lord's sake, if you are not even willing to pick seven stocks so we can see your demonstrated expertise, why should we click through to your crap?

You know who you are.  My suggestion:  1) no seven picks, no posts nor comments on other's blogs.

If you dipwads want to advertise your feeble sites, pay MF and do it in a standup fashion.

I agree but most of these people don't even take time to read these posts. If picks were required they would make 8 lousy picks and still come back pumping their site. If anything the lack of picks by anyone always raises a red flag.

We should spend less time and energy worrying about them...they will be gone from the site before long.

One guy in particular really aggravates me but I will avoid giving him the satisfaction that he does. : )

More importantly I was just up in Incline Village for a couple of weeks. Great place to hang out...we go every year and like it more and more.

Agree completely.  In fact I say forget picks unless you actually BUY the stocks.  Everything else is just crap.  I own all my picks.

does your schindlers list apply to people starting blogs or just replying and i have 9 picks cause iclosed alot last week and i spend more time trying to make real money in real life so if your calling people out a list of user names would be helpful.it's hard enough to make a buck and everyone has their own opinion

Yes! Please Fool admins please remove these people who post their advising website...especially those who don't have picks.

I need to call out someone. Anticitrade, this is a personality linked to another site, but on caps they have an all star rating. So, I might actually click away and start reading what they have to say. This is good. Others without picks are not, they should go to another site.

So now you're going to post "click on me"  comments on every blog or comment from someone who doesn't meet your approval because perhaps they don't have enough picks or a high enough rating to suit you?  You are throwing out the baby with the bathwater.  I've yet to be convinced that just because someone is good at playing this game elevates them or anything they have to say that much above the rest of us.  I've read blogs by top-rated players that seemed ignorant of some basic knowledge sometimes...and blogs by some lower-rated players that displayed a great deal of insight.  If you're going to do this you will be as irritating to some as Alstry (although I myself am not irritated that much by Alstry...I just don't bother reading his never-changing blogs).  As I pointed out on another blog similar to this recently, how about people like Sagitarius84?  He is known on SA as Dividend Growth Investor, is listed there as having 8354 followers last time I checked.  His blogs always have value, and present thoughtful, well-researched analyses.  Losing them would be a loss to this site.  They are always worth reading.  Never political, never attacking anyone.  Pure, well-thought-out, well-presented, valuable information.  He has only one pick here.  I and no doubt anyone else who reads his blogs cares.  This is a game.  For a group of people excelling at monopoly to be so arrogant as to believe they have nothing to learn about actual real estate investing from someone who many believe has so much to offer seems to me akin to shooting oneself in the foot.  This isn't much different.

Truth...your post is almost unreadable.  It is fundamentally incoherent.  I understand and forgive if English is not your first language.

But if you do speak English as a native, read the original post.  I object to people with NO picks who come here with posts to promote their OWN sites for their own profit.

Sorry you couldn't understand that simple premise.  Maybe another couple of weeks in second grade could upgrade your English comprehension to the level needed to participate in an adult conversation.

Ok fine!  Here are nice...short...sentences for you.

I will not insult you back.  YOU go back to grade school.

I don't like many of the same people you're complaining about..

But I don't want to lose some bloggers that have contributed and continue to contribute value to this site.  Sagitarius84 is just one example.  I'm sure there are others.

I don't want to have to go to SA to read his articles and blogs.  Currently I don't have to.

He has only one pick here.  I don't care.  I doubt if anyone else who reads his blogs cares, either.

I understand that if you can't attack the substance of something somebody says, you will attack the way it was presented instead.  It does not become you.  You are a very intelligent man.

As much as I hate going to SA I will probably go over to SA sometime today and post a comment asking him to please make a few more picks so that I can continue to read his blogs here.

I stand by by my Monopoly analogy.  It's a good one.

And the more I look at it, the more I realize there was nothing wrong with most of what I wrote the first time.  You were being petty.

I will rewrite it...

So now you're going to post "click on me" comments on every blog or comment from someone who doesn't meet your approval because perhaps they don't have enough picks or a high enough rating to suit you?  You are throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Anything wrong or "incoherent" about that?  No.

I've yet to be convinced that a high rating in this game, of and by itself, elevates anyone or their opinion that much above the rest of us.

Ok...that needed to be fixed.  Score one for you.

I've read blogs by top-rated players that seemed ignorant of some basic knowledge sometimes...and blogs by some lower-rated players that displayed a great deal of insight.

Anything wrong or "incoherent"  there?  No.

If you're going to do this you will be as irritating to some as Alstry (although I myself am not irritated that much by Alstry...I just don't bother reading his never-changing blogs).

Need me to interpret that for you?  REALLY?

As I pointed out on another blog similar to this recently, how about people like Sagitarius84?  He is known on SA as Dividend Growth Investor, is listed there as having 8354 followers last time I checked.

Leaving out an "and"  does not make this "incoherent."  Like I said...petty.

His blogs always have value, and present thoughtful, well-researched analyses.  Losing them would be a loss to this site.  They are always worth reading.  Never political, never attacking anyone.  Pure, well-thought-out, well-presented, valuable information.

Oh, I ended that with a couple of incomplete sentences obviously meant to amplify the sentence and the point I was trying to make.  Incoherent?  I think not.  Sometimes rules are broken as a matter of style.  Shall we get Teacherman in on this?

He has only one pick here.  I and no doubt anyone else who reads his blogs cares.

Another point for you.  Ok.  I think that one is awful, too.  I am suitably embarrassed.

This is a game.  For a group of people excelling at monopoly to be so arrogant as to believe they have nothing to learn about actual real estate investing from someone who many believe has so much to offer seems to me akin to shooting oneself in the foot.  This isn't much different.

I could have said it better.  But incoherent?  Second grade?

I still won't insult you.  You have insulted yourself with your own behavior.
