America is still living the dream provided by the World Reserve currency, relatively low population density, etc....No doubt, there is no country I would trade my passport for. Americans have a lifestyle that surpasses 90% of the planet.
You truely should be thankful for your citizenship.
But there is no Santa Claus. All stories do not end with the Hollywood formula "happy endings". Sorry....
If I had to guess, I would guess President Obama will disappoint.
IMO President Obama will be a one term President. His Honeymoon will end quickly once this chain smoking kid, with his paper thin resume, mysterious upbringing and lack of experience will quickly erode confidence, then we will be entering into some exciting times. hope to be 100% wrong.
Not Obama's fault, he was offered a job he took it, given his background so would you.
But I am wagering as such...one of Americas greatest strengths is also one of its greatest weakness... over optimism and trust in those that are not worthy of trust.
For the record, I am not betting against America. I am hedging to protect my long term future. I did not create this mess, but I can see it and I can see more coming in the future. To pretend otherwise and get taken down is foolish. Also I can state that better Obama and Biden than McCain and Palin.Ron Paul would have been the best choice.
I digress, here is the story
