Comverge Inc - " HELP" any thoughts on this company?

Seems like a dead horse, but even an old horse nag is worth something. I don't know anything about this company except that a good friend brought it to my attention. With little D&D it does appear undervalued, but this is one falling knife. 

Has anyone looked into this company and could it be a buyout target, from what little D&D I've completed it appears at least 50% below book value.

Any thoughts from the fool community would be appreciated.
