(I think the actual date for graduation from Temple U. is May 12th.)

Valyooo, congratulations on graduating with an economic degree! I know you weigh things carefully and are willing to learn new things. Common sense and flexibility are valuable assets. I appreciate your ability to cut through the fog. It has been nice to get to know you somewhat through your blogs.

I'm praying for your future that you will have a job that challenges you in a positive way and great people to work with. Are you planning to go back to NYC? Let us know how things go. Take care!

My actual graduation date is Thursday the 12th.  I am not sure how you remembered that lemoneater, but you're the best...you seem like the nicest person on earth.

Thank you very much to everybody else who commented on this blog, I have much respect for all of you.

I haven't applied to enough jobs yet, because  I am not in NYC so I can't interview yet.  I am moving back to brooklyn next week (so sick of Philly)

I used to intern at LPL financial, and the guy is going to set me up with his friend at Chase for a job as a financial analyst.  I have so much to learn still, but I am very willing to learn...I love this stuff

I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual to sell Life Insurance....I think I got the job, and they pay for all my licenses and stuff....but idk, I am skeptical of those jobs that require warm calling.

Thanks again!

Congrats on the graduation!  Northwestern Mutual isn't for me, but I have friends making bank there and others who couldn't make the cut.  Either way, it's good sales experience if nothing else...

Valyooo, you're welcome. (Actually, I'm rather terrible with remembering dates so I'll admit I googled the date for Temple's graduation.)

It sounds like you have several opportunities for jobs back home in Brooklyn. Be sure to let us know which job you choose.

All the best!

Congratulations on your impending graduation, Valyooo. Sorry to hear that you are leaving beautiful Philadelphia for crazy Brooklyn. :)

May your successes be shared with others and may your failures remind you that education doesn't stop with the toss of a tasseled cap.

Today's the day, Valyooo! I wanted to get one more "congratulations" in before I lost signal.

Later today I won't have access to the internet. Certain parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains are virtually internet free unless one has a satellite phone. I guess those gorgeous mountains block the signal.
