About the first video: do you ever wonder why it's only far-left states that have crises like these? When did you have rolling blackouts across Texas? You'd think an anti-energy company state government like California's would be able to defend itself against Enron, right? At least better than a relatively free-market state like Texas, right? Well, speculators have never caused blackouts in Texas. Weird, huh? Hm, I guess free markets provide energy relatively affordably and consistently.

But what about the high gasoline prices! They couldn't possibly be caused by rampant inflation on the one hand and skyrocketing Indochinese demand for oil correcting an all-time low in inflation-adjusted gasoline prices, could they? Could they? Well, maybe "deregulation" isn't the worst thing that could possibly happen.

More misinformation.

In April of 2006, parts of Texas experienced rolling blackouts due to excessive air conditioner use because of unexpectedly high temperatures. The longest power outage lasted for a period of five hours, affecting areas in the Middle to the South of Texas. The Texas power system runs on a system similar to the one in California.

As far as CA, it was Gray Davis, George Bush, and Enron working in concert that screwed california.  Davis got impeached, Enron got the death sentence, and bush... well it's belief in misinformation like this crap that keeps him in power.

Keep believing that liberals are evil.

Tim Russert was my favorite person in the press. It's so sad that he was killed died of a heart attack. I remember waking up just to watch Meet the Press when I was in Iraq. I also remember when John McCain visited Baghdad.  There were two people(military) who had cell phones and were talking on them during his visit to see the troops. Later that day they had their cell phones confiscated and they were arrested by the MP's and put into a holding cell for 48 hours and interrogated.

I doubt anyone back home saw that story on the news. I'm not sure if it was even in the Stars & Stripes. Most people are afraid of people on the streets of America. I can easily tell you that the streets of Iraq are far from being safe.

During the 2000 election I was too young to vote and I was young and naive liberal at the time but I loved John McCain. During the primaries I wanted him to beat Bush and win over Al Gore. He was a veteran role model who served that inspired me to ship off to basic training without ever second guess my decision despite what others said.

I had so much respect for him eight years ago and shared many of his views. It's almost painful to see him squabble for votes like this, and see this decline(from my point of view). I had a much worse experience aiding and supporting a grassroots campaign for a local congressman in 2004. It's because of people like them (that are the majority of capitol hill) that I have no faith in politicians, and there are far worse...

If they'll do all these things to appease dumb voters -
....just imagine what they'd do for a Klondike bar!!!

I did not have much time to write on this. But there is more dialogue and comments on my previous post:

The Upcoming Top Fool Will Be a Commodity BEAR

I would say that the current run up in commodities has a lot to do with Enron and the example they set. I will address this later when I have more time.

Hey Aba, OK. So Mc Cain is out. Obama is a blood relative of you guessed it Vice Pres. Chenny who is connected to Enron and Halaburton. So Obama is out. Who is left? Is it time yet for 1776? Why do we have the problems we have? I guess it is because our congress lets the top 10% of the population run the country and we the people won't vote the congress members out who won't do things right.
