Crocs will file 10-Q late
Crocs issued a press release today about its quarterly results coming up on November 12, and, oh yeah, threw in how it plans to file its 10-Q late. (Just like last quarter.) Companies occasionally do file NT-10-Q's and it's not always a sign of something necessarily terrible (or sometimes it's just a sign of something weird and random, like "chimpanzees escaped from the local zoo and attacked our office to our great trepidation, one's still crouched on top of my desk, staring at me"), but I'd say it's enough to make one a little less than comfortable (or at the very least a good indication to make a date with yourself to sit down and read that 10-Q went it does get filed). And with Crocs let's just say I'm not confident they're overwhelmed with awesomeness inundating their business at the moment.
Anyway like I said, last quarter their 10-Q was late, and it was one of the most interesting 10-Qs I've ever seen when it finally did show up, in terms of very changed language in a very short time (article here).
Of course it's not like they've warned or anything... all in all, I'm interested in seeing what goes down with the results. And yes, I'm still very down on the stock even all beaten up as it is.
