New to investing,

Will someone tell me what is holding CSR back?

They just announced that they are going to be issuing a large amount of stock. This basically means that each share of stock currently held by stockholder will represent a smaller percentage of the company once they issue all the shares that they have announced. I am not 100% on this, but my understanding is that they are issuing a very significant number of shares, compared to the shares outstanding.

I was very supprised to hear this since their earnings have been so good. My guess would be they need a large amount of cash to invest in continued growth of the business, and it is much harder than it has been to get loans in China.

Until the repurchase/repayment of debt and additional use of proceeds is known, the additional dilution makes me pause (possibly close to 90 million shares o/s if fully subscribed). My position is relatively modest and will remain so for now. There will be plenty of time to revisit this opportunity down the road in my opinion.
