Here is the update. The trading has been cut significantly and the second half of 2011 was hard to stomach but I managed to be patient.

Took a complete loss on Radient Pharma

Had some big wins with ANDS and MITI

ATPG, ALIM, SVNT and CEDC -- not good!

Happy with MSFT, VICL, REGN and the comeback of CSCO...

Judgment day for DSCO is upon us...

DSCO will certainly be intersting the next ~month, I hold a small portion as well. More of a gamble then a real "investment" but seemed liked fun with a good risk/reward ratio. The whole idea originally was to ride the buildup wave in anticipation of the FDA data release, this essentially is still my plan as I likely will sell before they release the news. I'm still not sold that they will actually get approved, FDA approval is much more difficult than people realize.But that doesn't mean people won't still bid this up to the moon prior!

the thing to watch with DSCO is further dilution between now and judgment day. they have other irons in the fire besides SURFAXIN and if they decide to hedge bets prior it could cut the legs out from under any run-up.

That said, I like the risk reward as well and have an over-sized bet on a multi-bag run potential. I have been preparing myself mentally to end up on the short end of this stick based on their history. : )

Valid point, this is definitely my concern as well and basically the main reason why I never allowed myself to make more than a small gamble on this baby biotech. But as you said, still a decent risk/reward ratio.

From that list, I own both penny plays - NTWK and MCZ (small positions), PETS and DLB. Just last week strated buying VECO.

Uranium stocks have very nice chart setups right now (CCJ and DNN), but keep in mind I've been wrong on DNN before.

Which ones do you like right now?

I like your choice of DLB for sure. HAS is another along those lines. I also continue to like GLW...the theme would be the "value tickers" that have been slow to come around (to put it mildly). This might be the year where you can make fewer bets on some of these beaten down and somewhat less speculative names.

Porte continues to provide some good ideas as you know.

dragonLZ (97.74) - thanks man..HGSI makes up for a couple of mistakes along the way...hoping to pick more good than bad these days : )

EnigmaDude (98.29) -  SQNM is a longer term play. I have owned it since Oct. I like the "space" and felt they represent more upside than down going forward.

portefeuille (99.75) - I will have to come up with a video of my own, tough to beat the Hives though.
