i believe this is a right opportunity to buy, just low PE is enough to justify.

well then if there is a recession, then low PE won't count, but

recession- no way with the global economy intact.

yes housing is down( because it was priced too much) that keeps US economy at a moderate pace.

sub prime, i believe is contained to the very bottom.

will it spill over, may be a little.

credit crisis is there, but fed shows its willingness to act.

fed funds rate is right, but it went up too fast, last 75 basis points should have happened in 4-6 months interval for every 25 basis points. that would have time for everyone.
