DDD and SSYS may get a boost
... from the new book, "The Makers," by Chris Anderson of Wired Magazine. Haven't read it all, but he makes the persuasive argument that 3-D printing is the new personal computer that will do for the world of "atoms," or physical things, what the bits and bytes of the internet did for services. He says that 3-d printers will allow millions of entrepaneurs to prototype and manufacture quickly and cheaply. THis will speed the process of innovation and move ideas quickly into production.
If this book catches on more people may be interested in DDD and SSYS and buy in.
