Did Anyone Notice...?

Anyone yet notice that last night in our newest software release we added back graphs to all our tickers, whenever you hover your mouse over one? Pretty slick if I do say so myself -- great job, CAPS team. Also, I believe we also made it so that every time, without fail, that you encounter a ticker anywhere on the site, you get this intelligent hover-over experience. That is a CAPS first, as in the past the hover experience was inconsistent from one environment to the next across CAPS.

A small step for CAPS... a great step for CAPS addicts like me. :)

Fool on!

Yep, I noticed! I like that feature very much.  The one-day % change is almost meaningless without a graph showing past price levels as well.

I typically kept open a Google Finance page so I could view trends while looking at tickers in caps.  Now that requirement is reduced if not eliminated.

Thanks for that.

Yes, but they don't go away when you want them to and block things.

I noticed and I like it!

Previously, I couldn't understand why the daily stock reccomendation would not display the mouseover information when the scorecard would.

Good job on the additional graph in the mousover, it provides extra context to the 1 day % change.

Noticed and MUCH appreciated, except I wish there was more of a delay before those graphs pop up.  I find that I have graphs popping up all over the place as I'm trying to navigate my screen.

I also noticed that there is no longer that hover-over thingy as I scan my favourites list, which I miss.  I liked being able to see how I'm performing against people on that list and being able to do so without having to click onto them to do it.  Far too time consuming that way.

And dwot, I had that problem as well with the graphs not disappearing, but I found that if you put your cursor back onto them for a couple of seconds, they'll disappear once you move it again.

I don't think there'd be that problem in the first place if there was a 1 or 2-second delay before the graphs popped up, but that's just my opinion.

Overall I DO like the feature a LOT!

Thanks for the improvements, however I must echo dwot's and kdakota630's comments:

Glad to hear that you like the new hover feature, and I'll talk to the dev team about possibly delaying the hover.

Thanks for the feedback!

I love the redesign - well done guys. But I have to echo dwot's comments as well. It is a bit annoying that the pop-up windows do not disappear after you move your mouse.

I like it. Most good things take revision to get perfect, but as is it saves me a lot of time. Thanks.
