Did I Fail?

Have I fallen down on my pledge? Was I distracted by the shiny object in the corner?
Earlier this week, I published an article "Confessions Of An ADD Investor" in which I pledged to do pitched battle with the many distractions of our modern world and focus in on five stocks that I named in the article. Well, it's Friday and exactly two of the five promised articles have gone up:
- PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP)
- Home Depot (NYSE: HD)
So what went wrong? Truthfully, not all that much. There were some distractions during the week (like this), but largely what threw me off was the extent of focus I managed and how much reading and research I ended up doing. Combine that with my day-to-day duties like participating in our 10% promise program (to tell you what's going on with stocks like Citigroup (NYSE: C) and Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL)) and there just didn't end up being enough hours in the day.
But fear not! I'm putting the finishing touches on ArcelorMittal (NYSE: MT) today and plan to pick up where I left off with Exelon (NYSE: EXC) and AFLAC (NYSE: AFL) coming next week -- distractions be damned!
Fool on!
