Fools,

Today I wrote about Facebook and its relative mertis as a business tool. I'm wondering: Do you use Facebook for business? I do. So does The Motley Fool, to an extent. Comments appreciated.

Foolish best,

Facebook is freakin lame, unless you are a college student networking with people in your college to find out where the best kegger is that night.

If you are in the entertainment industry, using myspace as your home page is a very popular choice (and a good one I might add), as you can easily add videos, music, artwork, customize your page, and even put links to things to sell.

If you are in the business world, you'd be better off using LinkedIn or Monster, more specific to job hunting.

I know people use both facebook and myspace for marketing, and that's just fine, but in the end I don't see facebook making a huge dent.  MSFT way overpaid for it's stake.
