I am looking for the physical bullion or coins. I see them offered by a couple of sources unknown to me and one of those sources seems to have a track record of not delivering according to what I've read on the internet. I've also seen them on Ebay, but I don't like doing such a big transaction on Ebay either.

Does anyone know of a trusted source that doesn't have a huge markup over spot?

I've never bought it before and it seems to be at a good price right now.

the only source I know is kitco in sponge.

http://www.rhodiumcoin.com is the site for cohen, and they say they are the only manufacturer of bars and coins.

They also have a notice up saying they aren't taking any new orders due to health issues.

personally I don't have any experience with either, but am curious what you find.

LOL, they are the ones that have a bad history of delivering and they have posted on their site that they aren't taking new orders due to an illness to the owner.

But thank you very much for putting the effort into it. I appreciate it.

Oh my gosh, don't buy rhodium.

Just because it's rare doesn't make it valuable.  Just get platinum or gold.

Thanks ajm101, but pure rhodium is inert and quite safe. It better be, it's in a lot of jewelry right now. It's some of the compounds that are reactive.

Ultralong I'm betting that you have a rhodium watch somewhere...

Any chances that you might melt that puppy down?

Looks like physical might be the best way to get exposure.

Hey Chris, post an update if you figure out a good place that supplies them.  I found at the Cohen Mint, claiming to do 1 oz and 1 g high purity coins, but I have no idea if they are reputable.

Greetings Fools...Believe it or not, We recently found some Rhodium at our local flea market.   It's a large piece...9+ oz.  Shaped like a Hershey's kiss.  Shiny on the outside.  Flip it over, and the bottom is a medium gray.  We're gonna take it to a local place to have it tested for content.  They said it would be around $100 to test.  I've Googled trying to find someone who will pay true value, but no luck so far.  Kitco seems to pay only 75%?  Funny, all I see on google are people having a hard time buying it...I'm having a hard time selling it!  LOL.
