I find enthusiasm for the whole "soft landing" theory for housing to be quaint, cute, and potentially devastating. Our head-in-the-sand society continues binge spending fueled by borrowed money, while the Fed's open taps on money fueled inflation which it didn't bother to truly measure (core inflation, HA!) much less heed.

So now, people have decided the bottom is in on housing, housing stocks, and the dour outlook on the economy? I don't believe it.

And neither does this guy, who's a lot cleverer than I am.
