Dude gets $500 for his place in line to buy iPhone 4
From the Associated Press:
"Jordan Richardson, who waited outside the Chicago store since 7 a.m. Wednesday, sold his spot early Thursday for $500, then paid another customer $200 to get back in line. He wound up netting $300 -- just enough to cover the cost of the phone."
Madness. Just madness.
That said, my birthday's in a few weeks, and my wife asked me whether I wanted the new iPhone. My first reaction is to wait until Christmas, since 1) any bugs might be worked out by then, and 2) maybe, just maybe, AT&T won't be the only carrier by then.
What do you think? Or, for those of you using other smartphones, should we iPhone customers broaden our horizons to something better?
