So I bought Ekso on some interesting news early in 2014-and watched it soar and dive in an manner worthy of a marine mammal. I'm not a day trader though shifts like these make me wish (sigh) I was. However I have been reevaluating the opportunity with this stock and having the usual problems finding a method for doing so with this still early stage developmental company.

I do believe in the story here. Robotics-and in particular a robotics company who can pivot from medical to military has my interest all the way. That said...Ekso is burning through cash, has had a negative P/E til now, and drops every day a few cents. What's to like in this scenario? Which brings us to Mr. Buffetts remark about being greedy when other are fearful etc-but it does need some shoring up to be a believable basis for buying this stock now.

So looking into it I found ekso doesn't just manufacture the coolest exoskeleton around-they also own the patents! Now that's reassuring not just because it shows planning and foresight on the founders part-but this kind of intellectual property will be worth money no matter what happens to this little company-and I do believe they will succeed if Wall Street doesn't get in the way. I'm long ekso.

Thanks for your comments on EKSO.  I too found EKSO's military contracts (LMT, and DARPA) very exciting and invested with them over RWLK. There is an article, that you might enjoy, in Popular Mechanics about DARPA developing an Iron Man Suit with Google's division Boston Dynamics that subcontracted the Iron Man contract to EKSO.  http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military/research/the-iron-man-suit-in-real-life-is-coming-darpa-17493769
