... just noticed that my player ahedgefund has gained an "average pick score" (aps) of 50.34 in his 80 days of existence.

well diversity, just 3 "underperform" calls on "inverse leveraged ETFs" (and they have actually lowered the aps!), the rest some plain vanilla stock picking (high beta helped quite a bit I must admit!)

So there really is no need for any "dirty tricks" ...

As ahedgefund I have made one "outperform" call on GM (score so far: -46.75 points, not that great, I know). I might close it. I have not paid too much attention to that player ...

In "the list" (where I can also make calls on stocks that are "not currently ratable" in the "caps" game) I did make a good "outperform" call on GM: I made the call when the stock was at the exact all time low of $1.27 (see comment #107, it stayed there for just a few minutes) and ended the call when the stock was at $3.06 (ca. +141% "gain") (see comment #274).

(for the raison d'être and some performance statistics of that list see here)

FYI - I am still #1 in points with 12k. I still think it is going to be very difficult for any fool to catch that. Points are very tough to aquire.

abitarePERFECT is also floating in the Top 20 rankings.

Too bad my ranking is mainly due to my accuracy.  I hope to join that list of score leaders in the next year or two.

Hans...1 rec for the graph against abit......

I know you basically love rating stocks - and hence outperforming them  - so this is really not an "agenda" like abit....however I did like the fact that you closed some banks - post this valuation madness.

One really needs to take a step back and understand what this does - while I am not readily subscribing to the price premium - hence converegence to offer price theory - it has a lot of merit in the short run , at least. By keeping the price at premium - basically the market is letting GS and MS to exit their slices.

Times are very very interesting. Q2 will be telling I think - either way
