Maybe that will get college boy to shut up a bit[. . .] #13 - June 21st is the first day of summer."

The S&P is at 892.60. This is well under, not over, 1000.

EV38's point total is 6,837, while GMX has 10,459. At least the college boy has shut up. EV got that one right.

GMX.....as the wise Japanese saying goes "We shall see!"

Do not rejoice too early.......This needs to be at least a 15-20% correction before declaring victory on the Bear side, my friend.

EV38's point total was higher than yours at one point so he was right.

Regardless, he prefaced his statement with "I'm going out on a limb", which seems to imply that he didn't necessarily think it was likely.

Not sure why you feel the need to make these gloating posts, but then whine any time someone points out your various failed prophecies on the future.  I like a lot of your posts, but for the most part, I see you as one of the least mature individuals at CAPS.

Any time you are "right" for even one second, you feel the need to start bragging and insulting others.  Any time you are "wrong", even for a relatively long period of time, you constantly complain that "EVERYONE IS DUMB" and then you come up with absurdist reasons to try to discredit those who were right (OMG ... HE GREEN THUMBED STOCKS WITH HIGH BETAS!).  Then you also complain that 'everyone is attacking you' despite the fact that you yourself are the single most insulting member on CAPS and constantly attack others.

It really gets tiring.

GMX, I value your input, disregard these people trying to get you to party!  There will be plenty of opportunities to eat mushrooms and end up in bed with your girlfriends roommate later on in life.

tonylogan, amen.

in my college dorm I was so drunk, so stoned, and so smitten with the breasts of basically any girl I could convince that hanging out with me was in her best interest that I honestly don't even know who ran against clinton in 1996.

ralphmachio, you are REALLY REALLY WRONG.  eating shrooms and winding up sleeping with your girlfriends roomate, even if she isn't nearly as hot as your girlfriend, is an opportunity available only to the young in this osciety.  I have a small scar on m yright cheek from exactly that (well, actually from the aftermath of that and getting slapped with a ring-wearing girlfirend who didn't find me sleeping with her much less hot roomate entertaining).

Life in the USA doesn't peak in quality with Hugh Hefner or Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, it peaks in quality with CL34 or others who seize, completely, the opportunities that life as a kid with no responsibilities offers in this wildly, wildly wealthy society.

Dang dang dang dang dand but i had fun as a college kid.

I'm far richer now, more epxerienced, more respected among respectable people.  But today, all of those thigns noted and true, if I through a party I couldn't get 200 people including the local hooters staff to come over to it the way i could at 22.

the USA, as rich as it is, is truly the dominion of the young.

I'm norwegian, an uncle spend 5 figures on the family geneology and history a few years back...

Norway in ancient times was in ways the antithesis of the USA today.  You could take no wife nor know no woman if you couldn't afford the kids.  Their hwole moral code was about paying for yourself and your own.  Several of my greatXXX grandfathers were kings of norway including famous names like Harld the FairHair and whatever.  They had 10, 20 wives.  To the victor the spoils.  The winners get the girl, the house, whatever.

Today we're in a huge recession that began with trying to give the losers a house!

think about that and its really anti darwinistic implications!
