For those who think that in order to reach the top100 of the "caps" game you need to excessively use leveraged ETFs or end hundreds of calls that have only just made 5 score points or make the majority of your calls on days like March 9 or make "sector calls" or engage in any of those tactics advertised here quite frequently.

You don't.

No need for all this.

Another experimental friend of portefeuille, currently #32 in the "caps" game. No tricks, just 109 calls.

This portfolio went majorly long in mid Feb.  Not hard to make a bunch of points doing that (I have other ports that did it).  Had this portfolio started a few months earlier/later, it would be a completely different story.  No one should be impressed.

Yes, why should anyone be impressed. That was not the point of this post.

This portfolio went majorly long in mid Feb.

I guess what you mean by that is that quite a few "outperform" calls were made in February. Of the 101 "outperform" calls 84 were made between February 17 and February 26, none in March, one in April, 8 in May, 5 in June and 3 in July.

49 "outperform" calls were made on February 17. The low and high of the benchmark (S&P 500 index) on that day were 789.17 and 818.61.

Do not waste your time doing something like ending the majority of your calls once they exceed 5 score points. No one that knows how the "caps" game "accuracy" works is impressed by a high "accuracy". Brownian motion should be left to pollen particles floating in water.

Don't pay too much attention to CAPS rankings.

The average relative change for the 101 "outperform" calls is currently ca. 84.17%. The average relative change of the benchmark is currently ca. 22.81%, resulting in an "average picks score" of ca. 61.36 for those calls.

The term "go long" may lead to confusion since giving an "outperform" rating to a stock/fund is not necessarily a "buy" recommendation and thus associating it with "going long" may not be a good idea. It is just a call that the stock/fund will "outperform" the S&P 500 index.

Again I am not quite sure what you mean by that. I make my calls depending on quite a few things that vary in time. So "moving the start day" of the calls will not be a very enlightening exercise.
