I love CREE as a company and have recommended them in the past (back below $20), but I'm thinking that at the current levels, the market has gotten a little too aggressive.

On one hand, they should be able to grow revenues significantly as demand for LEDs picks up.  A larger company might even try to acquire them.

On the other hand, LEDs could very easily become a commoditized industry with thin profit margins.  Probably won't happen to several years down the line, so maybe CREE can continue to go upwards in the meantime ... I'm not sure.

I wouldn't bet against CREE even at $50+ just because there are too many factors that could send it higher.  But I wouldn't buy into it, either, at that level.

Hey Port ... I assure you, that was no joke regarding the editorial process.

If I may ask, what made you assume that?

Is that why everyone keeps calling my articles blogs? Do you think Fools are unaware of the difference?

[Just curious] :)
