need some help; as a value-oriented investor, am looking for the easiest way to look up enterprise value of any publicly traded company; feel sure that this information must be compiled and maintained by someone; looking to see if anyone can offer some pointers.

thx!

If you go to finance.yahoo.com, you can look up companies by stock ticker. After you get to the page for that company, if you click on the Key Statistics link on the left, the Enterprise Value is near the top of the left hand column.

The automated calculations just subtract cash but that pile of cash is an operating asset for the financial company and shouldn't just be subtracted.
