Reports: Iceland government resigns

Should this have gone into the More Layoff Monday blog?????

Could this be a trend........

If enough governments resign....Obama could be the last president standing.  Would that be good or bad for the dollar?  Seems like a bullish sign for gold to me.......getting closer to becoming a gold bull.

Rioting in the streets around the world.  Complete governments resigning.

Alstrynomics is beginning to prepare a projection that might lead to ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT.

Of course it is good for the dollar.

Who do you think controls the dollar Obama/Fed or the market?

Also, one world government is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

That would be socialism to the max. The future will probably be self government with the only tax you pay being voluntary.

Yeah, there are so many countries that would love to be united under one gov't.  India and Pakistan for one, they would just jump on that idea.  Historically we have been heading towards it as well, all the countries in the Balkans have been dying to form a new country called "Yugoslavia".

Why does one world government have to mean socialism wins? Capitalism grew this country, so let's stick with what works. Remember the Louisiana Purchase? Manahattan? Alaska? What should our bid be to make Iceland the 51st state? Maybe about $40 billion - about two times GDP. Iceland has about 40,000 square miles of land, so that's a billion per 1,000 square miles - a fair price. The return on investment has to be at least as profitable as pouring $40 billion into the big three.

Maybe we could move the Vikings franchise from MN in partial trade. It's a natural fan base. OK, maybe just a farm team for starters.

In any case, let's move quickly on this before the IMF gains a controlling interest.

Agree - the next evolutionary sphere of political evolution will be world government - but not socialism.  Please see: www.RescuePlanForPlanetEarth.com - Democratic World Government through a Global Referendum.  I believe this is where the world is heading... a true, participatory, transparent, directly elected world parliament to address supranational issues like war, human rights, the environment, etc... grave issues that affect us all.
