FLASH ALERT: World to end in ' 79

There was a comment on GV's post when everyone was glued to the close Friday, wondering if the 660 would hold, if the break to 680 would come, what that would mean or won't mean for Monday, when one of our famous posters commented that we might just close at 666.66!

Well, I am Christian and I mean no disrespect to anyone, but while the numbers 666 have some biblical significance, I don't think you can link it ot the stock market, although it certainly looks like the market is going to h*ll in a hand basket, (or a designer purse from Coach).

The analysis of what the 660 means, resistance, TA, etc are all interesting reads.  Since the fear, the news, and our fearlessly fearful and fear eliciting leaders in Washington DC can turn the herd on a dime, but have herded us near a section of deadly cliffs, bottom is the lowest point the markets will reach before we go back up.  Now that is clearly one of the most obvious statements anyone could make....I say "one of" because 99% of the headlines lately have been just as obvious.

I have spent some indepth analysis of the charts, daydreamed about surfing, pondered and pontificated about TA and Fundamentals and have come to the profound conclusion that the S&P close on Friday of 666.79 is a key indicator whose significance will be overlooked by many.

It is clear to me, however, using very precise, long dated, and proprietary graphing tools that that this was the ultimate signal to both Traders and Investors.

The charts indicate that with the stock market low of 666.79 that the world will indeed end as we know it and life will cease to exist in ' 79. Now the part that comes next is a little fuzzy.  it could be 2079, 2179, 2879, 7779, etc.  Ironically it could even be 66,679 A.D.  In fact it could be anytime in-between one of these dates.

The precision of the charts leaves some interpretation, but the waves, troughs, and segments are all aligning with the dog star to indicate that the future will be darker before it's brighter, and brighter before it's darker. Of course we will need to rechart this on Monday after the open.  A down opening will signal that the end could be later, but more likely sooner.  An up market on Monday could signal that the end is more likley sooner, but could be later.

All CAPS and Fools should be warned. Not heeding this warning could result in your being in a better or worse condition and as Alstry warned us over a year ago, you can ignore the messenger, but some version of reality will occur anyway.   Be warned Fools, be warned.

In the short run, I suggest good dividend bearing stocks and those that are beaten down beyond fair value.  In other words, your portfolio should have 1/3rd of Crammers picks and you should avoid the other 2/3'rds of his picks. If you pick the right ones then you may come out ahead, especially if the marker rebounds sharply.

Good luck. Stay tuned to this station. When the world is really about to end, don't look here for advance notice, I'll either be floating into the chorus or hiding under a rock, and I suspect I will care less which way the DOW closed or who was right and who was wrong!

GMX, I'll go with the non-parenthesis on mine and the parenthesis on yours, except I'll substitute Jamaica because it's "all gonna be alright".  :)   But then again, I'm not me, I'm REdux.   Thanks for your comment, I think I stole the 666 comment from you, but that blog was moving so fast I don't think anyone could follow it and the market!  I hope things sloooowwww down this week, (unless it's going up)! Good Luck.

Much quieter, but as we know, HOLD means HOLD, nothing else to say! :)   Friday's are also much tougher on everyone, the Black Monday could be just around the corner. For me, it was a White Monday, and I was too busy shoveling to worry too much what was going to happen today after the first 15 minutes.  After all Hold Means HOLD!  :)
