It's kind of embarrassing to have called myself FleaBagger, because I feel like I must be the only top 300 player who doesn't have a bagger. As of this writing, Sociedad Quimica y Minera (SQM) has got me 99.88 points, so I'm within a hair of having that purple badge (if I remember the color correctly from better players' pages). The problem is, I feel like SQM is no longer the best place for my CAPS money, and I have 200 picks. So I kind of want to take my CAPS gain on it and split for a less overheated stock. (I got a zillion ideas.)

I guess I'm the sort of person who isn't meant to have a bagger. No wait, that's not right. It's just that the only things that have been going up a lot are already richly valued Latin American stocks and solar stocks, and I think the potential is better in Chinese stocks that haven't been going up. If Tiens Biotech (TBV) goes up 100%, I'll probably hang on to it. I certainly would hold onto SORL Auto Parts (SORL).

Should I end SQM? I don't know. I like purple.

Disclosure: I own TBV and SORL in real life.

Congrats on getting the charm. Seems like mine would never happen. But now I've got five double-baggers (if only in real life!), and I'm thinking about letting them run for awhile longer. I think they've still got life in them. Ah, I might have 5 double-baggers, but you've got one lucky charm I'll never have: 100 points in 100 days. I didn't take to CAPS right away after making my initial 7 picks, didn't know anything about lucky charms (except for the cereal), and now I can't get enough of them!

I posted the update with the deal already sealed. It was already in the bag (pardon the pun). Also, if I'd had to pay taxes on it, and weren't limited to 200 picks, I almost certainly would not have closed my SQM pick.
