Foolanthropy donation continues to snowball

December 22, 2009 – Comments (5)

Your trusty Data Fool was snowed in yesterday and wasn’t able to post the updated Foolanthropy tally. I made the slippery trek to Fool HQ this morning however. And I was glad to see that, although the DC area was effectively shut down this weekend, Fools continued their online discussions unabated. The recent activity on the articles, blogs and boards packed over a thousand dollars onto the Foolanthropy donation since my last update, bringing the total to $7,115.80 through the end of the day Monday.

I will be posting the next update after the holiday weekend. Keep it up Fools!

I can post because it is not snowing where I live.

Wait a minute, I could still post even if it was.

Hope all of your parts are thawed out.

Foolanthropy on.

When everyone gets back to work, maybe someone can find time to adjust the start price of LYG. They did a $1.42 return of capital to the ADR holders who were not allowed to participate in the additional share purchase.

As it now stands, the start cost is overstated in relation to the current price.
