No I'm not gonna give yet another detailed post about the con job going on with the profitability of financials right now. That was has been done to death!

There was a blog post by  another member that led me to this link and I would have replied to it instead of posting my own thread but it seems to have disappeared. (Like that Jodie Foster movie were her kid is no longer on the plane disappeared!) I'm sure the government did it, so I promptly cut my phone lines, locked myself in my panic room, (strangely enough another Jodie Foster movie), put on my tin foil hat and did a little research. I wanted to know how a company that has to sell stock to buy themself out of their TARP situation, suddenly is able to pour a record amount of money, out of their own private account to control 25% of the market on their own. (More than the next 14 top players combined)

It wasn't too hard to figure out. The Government did what police do all the time. First you catch a small fish (In this case Goldman Sachs) doing something wrong and instead of prosecuting them for it you try to get them to work for you (in the cop movies that means being a snitch, but in this case it means manipulating the market.)

Once your under the cops control they can make you do anything you want. Even though the first cop retired, the second cop still has your file so now your working for him.

If this plays out like most cop movies I've seen, soon the mob (Hedge fund managers) will realize that Goldie turned snitch (put the short squeeze on them) and Goldie will be sleeping with the fishes! If that happens, the cops (government) will have to account for a lot of money that was lost out of the evidence room (not sure if it's the TARP fund or stimulus package) and they'll probably overcome that. What they won't overcome is when the hedge fund managers start picking apart banks like piranha after after lent!

"Say hello to my little friend, Goldie!"
