Formatting Your Blog Post - getting rid of extra blank lines
So, you are happily typing away your blog post. The blogging system automatically starts a new line when get the end of the current line. When you want a new paragraph, you hit ENTER. The display inserts a blank like then starts you on a new line. But: what if you want to start a new line, but do not want a blank line also (maybe you are doing a list)?
If you want a
hold down SHIFT, press ENTER
Just press ENTER
This has to do with the old “Line Feed” (LF) key on older, pre-MS Word keyboards. Shift+Enter is how you get it these days. LF just starts a new line; Enter by itself starts a new paragraph. Uniquely, TMF Blog formats these 2 differently.
