There is absolutely no reason why Bernie Madoff is in jail.......and everyone on Wall Street is getting bonuses.........while America is shutting down....

Two Sets Of Books: A Felony For Everyone But Timmy

The last days of any dynasty is riddled with lawlessness........seriously, there is absolutely no reason why Bernie is in jail when our government is supporting such behavior....

FORTUNE -- The biggest danger to the U.S. capitalist system doesn't come from communists or community activists or left-wing academics. It comes from some of the nation's biggest financial institutions. These companies, which helped create the financial meltdown that touched off the Great Recession, have now found yet another way to undermine the public's faith in capitalism and markets: the foreclosure fiasco.

At this point, should we be teaching our kids that we must cheat and lie to win?......, if so, I am doing a shi^^y job as a parent.

If Bernie hadn't admitted guilt, he could have settled at worse, but more likely he could have looked for government assistance, sell all paper assets to the Fed, and then, given himself a billion in bonuses. But no, Bernie had "some" decency and admitted he was guilty. If you ask Geithner and Bernanke, that was a really stupid move on Bernie's part.

I thought Bernie claimed he was a "Market Maker" and as such wasn't guilty. The court found otherwise.

I wonder what the real difference is between Bernie and Benny.

What the judge didn't know was that his salary was being paid by Ponzi money.......government borrowing from banks that didn't have the money to loan....nor does the government have the reasonable capacity to pay it back...

interesting if you think about it...the "judge" sentencing the "defendent" is an unknowing beneficiary to the same scheme that the person he is sentencing is found "guilty" of.....

if you understand the subtle complexity of this problem, you understand the nuances of concentric contraction and collective interdependence.....and why our republic is hanging on a very thin thread right now.

Bernie was the gov's token victim, kind of like how the SEC went after Martha Stewart.  They go for the easy high profile kills every few years to make it look like they're doing their jobs.

The worst criminals are still getting paid huge money. It is AWESOME! haha

You know, who I'd really like to see set free is Martin Armstrong.

Another guy that got shafted compared to his criminal peers was the Tyco guy, Dennis Kozlowski, who I vaguely recall had a SOLID GOLD TOILET.
