Leave the steering wheel alone.

Question is whether the driver knows how to drive the car after so many driver's aids have been increasingly used without crashing?

Um no.

It's "I'm driving because I'm sitting in the front seat with the steering wheel in front of me.  If I get into an accident, it's my fault."

Central planning is

"I'll drive your car for you, since I don't like how you drive. I'm 3,000 miles away in the imperial Capitol but I'm arrogant enough to think I'll do better than you. When I get into an accident, it's your fault.  Oh, and you owe me 40% for this arrangement.  And it's not negotiable."

Freedom costs a buck o' five.

That's another way of reading the manual.

But I think my reading is more accurate.

Are you reading Rush Limbaugh's manual again?

That manual is a bit confusing.  It's kinda like "let the car drive itself unless it's being driven by a brown person or a known homosexual."

There is no steering wheel on the whole economy.  What looks like a steering wheel is merely a device to violate the property rights of all dollar holders (manipulation of interest rates by legally counterfeiting money).

So yeah, "Don't touch that steering wheel, Ben!"

Each of us market participants, though, are steering our own cars, responsible for our own actions.  As it should be.

And what does Limbaugh have to do with it?  And even if he did, someone hasn't really been listening to him: he hasn't said anything anti-homosexual for a long time, and has never been anti-brown.  My favorite substitute on his show is the awesome Walter E. Williams.
