Wow, turns out you CAN stick a bunch of networking gear on a bag of light gas, float it on a rope, and run the networking gear!

Can you make such a craft 5x bigger, run on its own for months on end and stay in one place, not to mention handle all the network data collisions inherent in wireless networking -- and get paid good money for it?

Yeah, I doubt that too.

But hope springs eternal, though not today, as Gtel's stubs are off 25%...

Need another press release, me thinks.

I have my own opinion on what this thing looks like. Super prize for the first correct guess.

Bob Jones, the guy pumping the blimp in the video, has already quit. And listen to his pitch. "We put various types of sensor... It's able to help the troops communicate with each other.:"

This was their big military pump, and they couldn't even keep the data straight from their Stratallite pump. (Thus the old "size of Texas" line.)
